On t he 6th of July Sedilo hosts on of the most folkloristic festival of the island. It was started to celebrate the Roman Emperor Saint Costantino in 312 AC for his impressive riding skills. The ‘Ardia’, supreme leader of the race has to guard a banner and the other knights have the difficult task of trying to overtake him to obtain supremacy. It’s one of the most emotional and absorbing folk festivals of the island with music and dances following the game.
