The south-west coast & the Caves of Santadi - Is Zuddas' Caves -

Half day excursion is to discover the beauty of the caves of Santadi. Leaving in the morning, you will be taken to the coastline where fantastic panoramas, Spanish towers, white sandy beaches and the mediterranean vegetation melt with the turquoise colour of the sea. From the coastline to the country side, crossing some villages of shepherds and farms you will be taken to Is Zuddas where the breathtaking caves of Santadi are and which have been created by a natural phenomenon of stalagmite and stalactite.

The Sulcis' park & the beach of Chia

Half day excursion to the Sulcis' park. Visit to Is Cannoneris park, a regional reserve where you have the opportunity to see the rare Sardinian deer. The tour ends with the visit of the renowned beaches and sandy dunes of Chia.

The ancient town of Nora

Half day excursion to visit the ancient Punic-Roman town of Nora, which originally it was a Phoenician coastal settlement on the Capo di Pula peninsula. This archaeological site has a beautiful theatre, temples and ruins of houses with multicoloured mosaic. The tour ends in Pula to visit the archaeological museum and the weekly market.

The city of Cagliari

Half day excursion to the discovery of the city of Cagliari. Visit to the old town, the Archaeological Museum, the Cathedral and the Bastione of San Remy. The tour ends at the city centre where you could do some shopping.

To the discovery of the Costa Verde

A romantic full day tour through the old miner's villages. The tour takes you to the town of Ingurtosu located between the mountains and the sea. Through the coastline you could admire the golden sandy dunes, the highest in Europe, which are covered by the vegetation and the colour change every day because of the minerals. This area offers fantastic panoramas. At lunch you will have the chance to taste the local cuisine based on fresh fish dishes. In the afternoon the tour takes you to the villages of Bugerru, Masua and Nebida which are on the coastline.

San Pietro island & Carloforte

Full day excursion to the discovery of the south-west coast. Driving to the coastline, you could enjoy nice panoramas and the Spanish towers. At Porto Vesme we take the ferry to Carloforte - 30 minutes away - where a free tour is available to visit the small centre. In Carloforte the language, the architecture, food and traditions are those of Genoa. This is a fisherman's village. Lunch will take place in a renowned restaurant to taste the good local cuisine with fresh fish dishes.

The Nuragic Village of Barumini and the wild horses of La Giara

Full day excursion through the beautiful countryside. A fantastic opportunity to discover Sardinia's most important monument, The Nuragic Village of Barumini. The tour goes through landscape of gently sloping hills, wine yards, olive trees and little villages. In Barumini you will visit "Su Nuraxi" an imposing nuragic complex characterized by a quadrilateral nuraghe with four towers surrounding the central tower, dated back 1.500b.c. - Lunch will take place in an old Sardinian house where you could taste the typical Sardinian specialities. - In the afternoon the tour continue to La Giara, a large basaltic plateau that hosts the mysterious wild horses, which arrived in mysterious circumstances. Coming face to face to these animals is a fascinating and fabulous experience.

Sardinian's ancient civilisations & lunch at shepherd's house

Full day excursion to the discovery of the mysterious Sardinia's ancient civilisation. Visit to the necropolis of "Pranu Mutteddu" located at 2kms from Gonoi, dated back to Neolithic era 4.000 b.c. - This settlement hosts a splendid row of mehir, standing stones associated with worship and architecture which are unique in Sardinia. The necropolis hosts important graves, mehir and Domus de Janas. - After this tour you will have the opportunity to taste a typical Sardinian lunch at shepherd's house.
