The
B&B Casa Solotti is located
at just 5kms away from the town of Nuoro, on the Ortobene mountain
which has an attractive recreational area providing a swimming
pool, tennis courts, archaeological sites and activities such
as: horse riding, football, skating and clay pigeon shooting.
With
a bronze statue of Cristo Redentore at its peak, Ortobene mountain
is famous for its natural beauty and breathtaking panoramic
view of Sardinia. During the last week of August both in Nuoro
and on the Ortobene mountain take place the most important event
of this region, the festival
of the Sagra del Redentore. A religious and fascinating
event where thousands of people together with Folklore Groups
take part dressed in traditional costumes.
This
B&B overlooks the Sa Serra plateau, the imposing Mount Albo
and the Marreri valley, an area where the famous wine Cannonau
is produced.

a panoramic view. - "Casa Solotti" organizes excursions on horseback
and can provide lunches and suppers.
